The American exchange council: bypassing the democratic process

this is a research paper that uses Peer reviewed papers Published in an academic journal.

Guidelines
1. Abstract succinctly summarizes argument. The abstract should be italicized at the start of the paper.
2. Following the abstract, one or two paragraphs to introduce the topic and its importance.
3. The next 4-5 pages discuss the previous scholarship of the topic, insert your revised and updated Lit Review here. Be sure that youve addressed all the corrections/suggestions that you received on it earlier.
4.In the paragraph after the Lit Review where you have reviewed significant scholarship of your topic you must assert your own thesis. This must on page 5 or6
5. Transition into your argument, which should be about 10 pages of the 15-page total. The
paper must clearly, succinctly demonstrate how primary sources shaped your argument.
Note: 15 pages does not include the Works Cited.
6. Your conclusion must summarize the significant evidence that you present in support of
your argument.
7. Works Cited: Beginning on page 341 of In Conversation the authors begin a section on
MLA citations. On page 370 they have included a sample essay in MLA style. (It is a
shorter paper than you are required to write.) The most helpful component of it for you is
that it contains examples of citations, block quotations, and a Works Cited. All these will
be helpful for you. In a slight variation of the Works Cited, you should divide yours into
two sections: Primary Sources & Secondary Sources.
