Hi, I’ve pasted the prompt below. I’ve also attached my syllabus that contains the screenings that I have to refer to. Please follow the instructions 🙂

Choose TWO of the four options below. Answers should be between 50 and 150 words each, NOT LONGER. Please make sure both answers fit on a single page that should be typed in 12 pt. Cite specific moments or details from multiple shows. DO NOT ANSWER ALL FOUR. (10 points for each of 2)

Option #1:
Referring to screenings in class, discuss how television has changed from the mid-20th century to now.

Option # 2:
Considering the women on shows we have screened this term, what evolution do you perceive in the writing of female characters?

Option #3:
Using examples from our screenings, how do characters of various ethnicities, cultures, and orientations affect the kinds of stories that writers can tell on television?

Option #4:
Referring to at least two countries visited in the book (in addition to the U.S.) compare the ways stories are told there to American TV shows.
