The object of the term paper is both to acquaint the student with legal research and to gain a substantive understanding of some aspects of real estate law. Students may choose their own topics. A possible approach would be to study in detail a court case or a policy issue involving land use or another appropriate real estate topic giving the arguments and related authorities on both sides of the issue or decision
