On page one, write a response in at least 300 words, single spaced, to either the following reading or video. I recommend both as they are each offer excellent perspectives.

What advice resonates with you?
What are good actions you’ve taken in networking, and what would you like to try differently?
What is one step you apply to your professional life, and how?
Other questions and perspectives you’d like to offer?
On page two, identify and describe individuals who could become a part of your career support team as you begin your professional life. You are a complex individual, and a diverse network will help you to connect with these various aspects of yourself.

Write one substantive paragraph (4-5 sentences) for each person with detail and explanation for what makes them a valuable part of your career team. This detail should be unique, not generic, about the person and their value to you.

1. Intellectual: Professor or mentor in your program or in school. This person connects with your intellectual needs. (Please write about mentor I have met in DePaul Benjamine Cooper from Ernst & Young that have met 2 years ago and still stay in touch)

2. Professional: Individual in your general field who has a broad level of knowledge and who could be a sponsor for you in the future. This person connects with your professional needs (Jason Wilkins)

3. Colleague: Student or peer in college at the same time as you. This person connects with your collegial needs (Luis Luna)

4. Personal: Individual such as a family member or friend. This person connects with your personal needs when you are facing a hurdle and need someone to lean on (tatsiana puhachova, best friend)

Other (optional): Another individual such as an advisor, counselor, spiritual guide, or other role. This person is a go-to for miscellaneous but critical needs that do not fall neatly into one of the above areas.
