The noise of the swing screeching is a sign of the disorder, sybil watched the old lady push the kid on the swing and it triggered her memory of when her mother hanged her up on a pully system in their garage. She then discovered classic fugue where she went from one place to another (the park by the swings when playing follow the leader to standing in the pound).
The piano music increased as sybil climbed the stairs. The sound of the piano caused sybil to have another flashback to when her mother played the piano. She would look at clocks because they calmed her down, however breaking glass helps her go back to being herself. She was forced to listen to the same 3 songs.
