You will need to reflect about your own “philosophy of nursing.”
Paper Requirements and Guidelines:
1. Reflect on the four major concepts: NURSING, PERSON, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH.
Write four lengthy paragraphs, one for each of the four major concepts. For each paragraph, write your own personal philosophy or personal meaning of that concept. Content may also include the following points:
– The value or impact on society, communities, the family and individuals
– Thoughts on ethics, law or cultural diversity
– Explain how your philosophy will direct your future professional work in the field of nursing.
2. Follow the APA Guidelines for “Reflection Papers”
– Include APA Title Page and Header
– If level headings are used, specify the four concepts under the Metaparadigm (1st level heading) and use the four concepts as 2nd level headings
– Please use 1st person for reflection
– Contractions (such as don’t, couldn’t) should not be used
– Papers will be penalized for misspelled words, typographical errors and grammar mistakes.
