Preparing university students for the future of work: The extent to which the education system is equipping young people with relevant skills and knowledge?

Task Details/Description:
Select twenty (20) journal articles in your research domain. Ideally, these should be articles from internationally recognized journals that are listed in the Chartered ABS Journal Guide 2021.
Use the papers to write an essay in which you will introduce a potential research question and write a critical literature review around that topic. The literature review should discuss what we already know on the topic. You should also make clear to the reader the link between the literature and your novel research question. The essay should be 3000 words excluding references, figures, and tables containing numbers.

It should consist of the following headings:
(i) Abstract (between 300 -500 words)
(ii) Introduction,
(iii) Literature Review,
(iv) Data,
(v) Analysis and
(vi) Conclusions/ Recommendations.

Please also ensure that you include a title for the chosen topic.
The weighting for each section is provided in the Assessment criteria section below.

Module Learning Outcomes Assessed:
1. Formulate a research question to work on
2. Present a critical review of the literature on the chosen topic and use it to refine the research question.
3. Awareness of relevant data and research methods to be used for research

Presentation Requirements:
Word Count: 3000 (excluding references, figures and tables containing numbers. Tables containing words will be part of the word count). Please try to be as close as possible to the required word count (+- 10%)

Reference list format:
Its your choice as long as you are consistent. APA, Harvard, or variants of these are quite often used.
