Write a news release based on the information in Exercise 13.1 on pages 212-213. Use the News Release Template provided, which means you do not have to create the Eureka! logo and header with the street address, etc. Use the format shown in the textbook on page 206, which is a bit different than the one on page 205. You still need to provide the contact information, date, headline, dateline and news release article that follows the inverted pyramid format of writing with a one-sentence lead paragraph. The sample on page 206 shows how to do the boilerplate paragraph after the end of the news release. At the end of the news release, you will place either ### or -30- in the center. Then you must include the boilerplate, which is a standardized paragraph about the company/organization that goes at the bottom of all of its news releases. See the top of page 208 for the explanation of boilerplate, which is number 7 on the sample news release on page 206. The assignment should be submitted under Graded News Release in the Assignments folder in D2L.
