Thanks to the popularity and recognition of sites like WordPress, blogs are becoming nearly pervasive. Although, you still need specific instruction on how to use them in classes.
The blog is described by the following qualities:
Written from a personal viewpoint, often in the first-person
Social, offering visitors the ability to comment and containing links to blogs and sites on similar topics
A collaborative space to conduct specific tasks.
In this course, we are using a different approach to discussions. We will be using them as blogs. There will be two themes presented as blogs.
You will participate starting in Module 5 and keep building on your responses/replies to both major course themes. The idea is to collaboratively create an article for publication using the work you produced throughout the modules. The project should be suitable for publication or organizational application. You will also have to identify a conference for potential publication.
