Assess the validity of the claim that “if you can do it for free, you can do it for money.” In other words, explain your theory about the limits of markets: are there or aren’t there any goods, services, or experiences that should not be sold even though they can be possessed and given away? (Or any markets that should be very very tightly restricted?) Include in your discussion at least one of the examples addressed in the readings: prostitution, sale of human gametes, commodification of personal online information.
