Second, list the parts of your business idea that are unique, unlike any other. Think about your name, products, business operations, marketing materials, and the like. Which of these assets could be protected by a patent, copyright, or trademark?

Third, research and report how much it would cost to run a banner ad on three Web sites. What are the pricing options? Are they listed on the companies Web sites? Where did you find the information? How about creating a banner for your business idea?

Fourth, read the letter on Designing Logos written by Dana James. Next, visit some of the websites mentioned in the letter. Using Dana’s advice and from your research, create a log for your business idea.
