This is a short research paper on some aspect of the medical use of cannabinoids specifically in Treating Epilepsy.

The assignment is to research the topic with respect to how it relates to the endocannabinoid system. If a treatment is offered that makes use of cannabinoids or other drugs that interact with cannabinoid receptors, explain the mechanism of such treatment to the best of your ability (note that you might be limited by an incomplete state of knowledge of the mechanism).

Once youve laid out how the condition or pathology is related to the endocannabinoid system, dont be afraid to try to integrate what youve learned with what you know about Cannabinoids (CBs) and the Endocannabinoid (eCB) system more generally. Can you think of any other ways to approach treatment that might be beneficial? [This is a tall order dont distress if you are unable to think of something that has missed the medical researchers of the world. Nevertheless, it is always worthwhile as a mental exercise to see what you can come up with! At the very least you may discover there are things you want to find out for yourself.]

The paper is to be at least five pages, but no more than eight. Give proper citations for all statements of fact.
