The word limit is 2000 words 10% (does not include figure legends and references but does include the in-text citations). Numbered referencing preferred. Please focus on the primary literature and dont rely too heavily on review articles. Aim to cite between 20-30 relevant papers. Figures are a good way to illustrate many of the points you will raise, so plan to include 3 1 figures. Read the essay question carefully and ensure the essay content is relevant; higher marks will be awarded for essays that include critical analysis and discussion as well as a description of relevant studies.
