Human Resource Management Project Paper:
Students will study research features, processes and current trends in human resources management in healthcare. The student will present their recommendations in APA formation and will produce an authored quality human resource project on the subject that will be turned in as the final human resource management assignment for the course. This individual project provides an opportunity to conduct a thorough investigation on a subject area of your choice (related to a Human Resource Problem/Issue) and propose a solution on that issue. For the assignment, the student will discuss human resource strategies that are being used in a particular company/organization to achieve the competitive advantage. The final project paper is to focus on the main theme of the course, which is how to use human resource strategies and techniques to improve an organization competitive position compared to other firms in its industry. The assignment is expected to be of sound academic quality and good enough to be presented at local health fairs, seminars, or professional association conferences. A submission of the individuals work is required at the end of the semester. The paper should consist of 7-10 pages (does not include cover and/or reference page, should follow APA guidelines, and should include in-text citations.
