Write an essay of 750-1000 words (3-4 pages double spaced) in which you do the following three things: 1) describe the exhibit — its content and organization, 2) discuss what implicit definition of “culture” was used to organize the exhibit — for example, what is featured, and what is not, and 3) a critical appraisal of the the exhibit in terms of how it represents the populations depicted, and how it might perpetuate stereotype OR works to advance a more nuanced understanding of them.
