• explaining what is meant by failure/decline
• analysing the possible reasons of failure/decline
• suggesting how this could be avoided.
It is essential to include relevant academic literature into the discussion. The news article(s) must be included in the references list. Applying strategy tools is NOT required for this task.

This assignment seems to have completely missed the task. There is no reference to any FT.com article, the chosen Company states Thoma’s Cook (sic) and it focuses mainly on fiscal matters rather than any strategic approaches.
There is no definition presented of causes of strategic failure.
What were the impacts on its stakeholders – particularly customers?
The discussion lacks veracity due to unsupported arguments and a lack of robust evidence – the lack of citations is significant and the basis for any arguments is consequently severely weakened.
The grammar is very poor with multiple syntax errors, poor referencing and citation, and lengthy descriptions (especially the conclusion) which appear to have been taken from other sources – notwithstanding there is a very extensive reference list included.
Strategy theories could be applied here Barney’s or Porter’s.
The conclusion is too lengthy and introduces new information which is not appropriate.
