Review Chapter 4 in The Complete Guide to Fundraising Management by Weinstein. In addition, go online and locate any additional information you can find that discusses what goes into a case for support. On the basis of what you find and the questions outlined on pages 51–53 of Weinstein, prepare a 3- to 5-page case statement (750 to 1375 words) for your organization.
Be sure that your case statement points to or includes important aspects of the organization such as its mission or vision statement and key objectives or goals that can be supported through fundraising or philanthropy.
Your case statement should explain the roles that the various components of the organization (board, advisory committees, staff, etccix.) play in developing resources.
