The governor should also ensure open and adequate circulation of information throughout the island to guarantee accountability in humanitarian supplies management.
The country will receive assistance from international agencies in food, technical assistance, and cash grants (Cuny, 2017). The government will not receive blood and its derivatives assistance, household medicines, household foods, and used clothing. After all, it mandates safety and quality controls, such as screening and refrigeration. Medical prescriptions will be unavailable because they are legally and medically inappropriate. It will also not receive blood donations because this type of donation is demanding. Pharmaceutical products divert the clinical personnels attention and consume excess space (Cuny, 2017). Household foods will not be available because emergencies rarely result in national food deficits. Used clothing will be unavailable because it is more sanitary, convenient, and economical to purchase these items than to utilize imported commodities. The country can adequately prepare for similar future disasters by initiating an emergency fund to help fast recovery from the adverse effects caused by the disaster. The countrys governments and citizens should also enact an effective evacuation plan, communication plan, disaster plan, review their insurance policies, and know the specific hazards that are common in their country (Cuny, 2017). A disaster plan will help the citizens understand safe places to go during a disaster, while a communications plan will help them reunite with loved ones and family safely. Volunteer and professional responders should ensure that they give aid regardless of the recipients nationality, creed, or race to ensure that they calculate aid priorities on the foundation of need alone.

What forms of technical assistance do you think would be most common/helpful? Would the technical assistance offered by international agencies include medical assistance, as there are no comprehensive medical facilities?

Also I have to read the following and make a comment and ask a question or two.

In the incidence of the Doughnut Hole attack, the Governor should inform the federal government about the attack and give the necessary details of the incidences. However, the Governor should ensure they follow the various steps in calling for international aid. The steps include; considering the situations in the ground, determining the correct actions, verifying the safe routes, and accounting for everyone. It will be easy to inform the international agencies on the situation and what exact help the Island needs with all these in mind.

There could be available assistance from international bodies and governments. Military force can be available to help the security force of the Island in mitigating the attacks. The medical team would also be available to attend to the injured person. The emergency response agencies from different states can also be available to give a helping hand to the Island. However, the assistance will be available, but it will also depend on the Island’s international relations.

In the future, the Island should form an independent emergency response organization. The organization should be working independently and reporting to the Governor. The people should be alerted about any impending danger to stay safe and to prevent more fatalities. The Island should invest in building a strong security force that can respond quickly to disasters. The Island should also call for help in advance if they suspect any impending attack. The emergency management team should work on preparedness, mitigation, prevention, quick response, and recovery. It is important to respond fast to reduce the fatalities and bring the place to normality. The response team should not work independently. This prevents delay and enhances fast decision-making (Phelps, 2021). Being independent will make it more responsible and quick in emergency response.
