Analyze two films: MUST relate in some way, whether they are directed by the same director, showcase the same actors/actresses and/or issues or appropriately belong to the same time, place and/or movement. Be sure not to simply compare/contrast plots of both films. Be sure to analyze important elements of plot and balance this discussion with relevant visual/cinematic elements and history. You must provide one example of interesting or successful usage of: angle, shot, lighting and color. Can be reoccurring. Explain how they are used, the effect and the success. You must discuss specifics of film history, cultural or politically history and you MUST include the analytical elements of narration and cinematography. How are certain themes addressed in each film? What are the major artistic/cinematic and narrative concerns? How are these balanced? Is one more important? Four page minimum. compare/contrast the elements and themes and execution of the films. Don’t compare plots.
