You are a consultant who has been hired to craft an electronic handbook that the company can use to build effective teams in their workplace. The product should be creative but not too embellished which could dissuade a potential investor, lender, or business associate.

Topics covered should include:

Selection Process – Selecting team members considering their personal values and goals
Leadership – Developing leadership qualities in the team
Communication – Conveying instructions, expectations, and recommendations effectively
Technology and Communication Systems – Influencing team success through technology including the internet
Creativity, a professional look, proper formatting and structure, appropriate in-text citations and References, and easy-to-follow instructions are key aspects to be included in the deliverable.

The final project will adhere to the following guidelines:

APA (7th ed.) writing style guidelines
PDF file document
1.0-inch margins on all four sides
Text aligned-left with proper indents
Title page
Proper headings
Double-spaced
Times New Roman 12point size font
Content consisting of at least 500 words (not including Title and References pages)
Use of Graphics, pictorials, charts, and other visual elements (sparingly)
References list
In-text citations in the body of the paper that match the source in the References section

The document will be submitted to the assignment folder.
*If using external resources to write the paper, Turnitin automatically will scan for potential plagiarism violations. Papers with a detection rate of 30 percent or higher will not be reviewed and graded by the instructor until the final draft complies with the acceptable range of Originality for submission.

The final project is to be submitted to the D2L Assignments folder. The document will be scanned automatically by Turnitin plagiarism checker. If the paper is returned with more than 30% Match Overview, the student must correct the original content. Once the draft copy meets the Match Overview threshold in Turnitin, the assignment can then be submitted to the dropbox for the instructor to review and grade.
