Analyze and critique the role of class and status in the societies/works we have covered.

I will attach the graded paper they wrote however it needs to be completely rewritten. I wrote the thesis paragraph of the paper and it was the only portion acceptable to the professor so the thesis should be the following: The role of class and status in Northern European Viking age society was unlike other societies of the time. The role or class you were born into was not necessarily where you ended up. Depending on their occupation, life choices, luck, and bravery, individuals could move up or down their ranking in society. This paper examines archaeological evidence that reflects particular ways in which an individual could gain or lose social ranking.
The Course is ENG 352w: Myth and Fantasy. The assignment is to use scholarly articles to analyze and critique the role of class and status in the societies we have studied. I have attached articles dealing with these particular societies Norse, Irish, and others that were approved by the professor. These sources and any of the titles below may be used in writing the essay.
The works we have studied include:
Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth TV series.
Ibn Fadln and the Land of Darkness: Arab Travellers in the Far North, eds. Lunde and Stone
The Prose Edda, ed. Jesse Byock
The History and Topography of Ireland, by Giraldus
Cambrensus (Gerald of Wales), ed. John O’Meara
The Tin, translated by Thomas Kinsella
Sweeney Astray, translated by Seamus Heaney
