So some insight, the U.S in comparison to other countries, especially western/industrialized countries, significantly imprisons and houses a greater amount of its citizens in its prison population, so how can the US fix and resolve this issue? possibly include references of how other western countries are “better” and how the US could take note of other countries’ prison policies. also include how the war on drugs disproportionately imprisoned citizens, black specifically, at a far greater ratio.
