Women’s Influence on the Ottoman Empire

I plan on arguing the influence women had on the Ottoman Empires economy during the 15th to 19th centuries despite their limited freedoms formed by the patriarchy. I will include official records from the Ottoman Kadi court which provide first account evidence of womens presence in the purchase and ownership of estates.
The primary document to be used (as noted in the guidelines attached) are the charts in Social and economic Position of Women in an Ottoman City, Bursa, both on the top of page 239 and 240.
