The final draft of Essay #2 will be a seamless discussion of whatever themes (feminism) you discussed in the first paper with those of the second paper, you will just be adding Frankenstein. The thesis statement of the first essay will be extended to add the new material. Students can either integrate the new material throughout Essay #2 or do a comparison essay
I have included a copy of my first essay for reference in order to integrate both essays together. I would like this essay to discuss the various ways in which feminism is portrayed in the novel Frankenstein. For example: the role of the female characters and how the way they are portrayed in the story contributes to the idea that the story is a feminist one. Also, the effect of the time period in which the story was written, the authors background and how it affected the feminist aspect of the story. That and more could be part of the essay. But the main idea is feminism within the novel.
