Stock Portfolio Contest

On or before the due date, students will submit a minimum 4 pages of content describing a summary of this experience (cite references as appropriate). The 4 pages of content excludes any tables, title page, reference list, etc. and the paper must be in APA format (double spaced, etc.). Your paper must include the following:

what you learned about the stock market, investing, and stock trading
what you found confusing/troublesome
your final ranking within the contest
a table summary of your performance (easiest to do in Excel and then copy/paste into Word)
Use one row for each trade grouped by company name
Use the following columns: company name, ticker symbol, # of shares bought/sold, per share cost basis, total cost basis, per share current market value (or sold price), current market value (or sale proceeds), gain/(loss), and percentage return. A row summarizing the total return on the portfolio should conclude the table.
