The Research Paper is argument-driven, and will focus on an event/issue in the headlines during the month and year I (the paper commissioner) was born – which is October 1994. “It’s very important to use in-text citations. If a teacher sees material from a secondary source that isn’t correctly cited, they may assume the lapse was intentional and therefore plagiarism. This is definitely best avoided by proper use of in-text citations.”
You must offer an in-text citation whenever you 1) quote directly from a secondary source, 2) paraphrase a secondary source, and 3) use specific pieces of information (statistics, data, etc.) found in a secondary source.

Although this assignment requires at least 5 sources, at least 3 of those 5 must be capable of being accessed from electronic databases that HACC (Harrisburg Area Community College) has access to. I’ve included a list attached as a separate file, and it’s pretty broad, but I guess we can work things out if you can’t access some of these databases on your own?
