If there is one thing I could affect the change in my community it would be to make sure that we respect the differences we come with. I live in a world that appears to be increasingly chaotic and restless, driven by a great sense of anxiety and anger. A world that is unique in so many ways and beauty that is almost indescribable. Yet, man, the unchallenged animal, stands atop of the food chain trying to segregate itself from everything rather than being a part of the planetary ecosystem. And from where I live, I wish I could change that by putting more love into it. For that love to blossom, we need to start by being a little more respectful towards one other. We must be respectful in our disagreements and respectful in our differences. And this will change our outlook to be more loving and compassionate. We live in times of great complexity yet filled with immense potential to forge ourselves into technological future alleviating us from the poverty of human inequality. We can achieve that successfully with love. While I may not say as eloquently as Eric Clapton did in his song Change the World, but I sure would like to keep trying. For that I keep asking myself everyday, how can I be a better human being?. I have been working towards this goal by inspiring others and by creating awareness during my everyday conversations with friends and family. In my activities I make a conscious effort to talk, act and be kind toward others regardless of their differences of their opinions with mine.
