Compare how the case was handled in India to how a similar issue was/would have been handled in the US. Consider the differences and similarities in environmental law and how environmental issues are handled (especially how they were handled legally) in the 2 countries.

How did they affect the outcome for the case at hand? How would the result of the case have changed if US procedures were followed as opposed to the Indian procedures that were followed? What are the broader implications of your findings? How do the differences/similarities in how the US and India handle environmental issues affect environmental law and protection in the 2 countries?
