Paper 2 – Safety project paper using the QSEN standards for BSN nursing students: Choose a safety issue that you have encountered in the work place (Stroke unit nurses administering food and medications to stroke patients without proper swallow assessment).
Explore the depth and cost of the issue. Look at what is being done currently at your institution if anything, and what could you contribute to addressing this issue. This will take some research regarding the impact to your institution and possible effects on society. this will require you to talk to the Chief Nursing Officer or whom ever is in charge of the area your interested in addressing(NURSE EDUCATOR). Your final paper will incorporate the QSEN standards for BSN students. Quality and Safety are the two main focuses of this paper. You will collaborate with an expert in the area you are addressing. This paper should not be more than 10 pages in length and must include an abstract using 150 words or less. Paper length no more than 10 pages.
