Course Objectives:
Identify nutrients and define their function in human metabolism, catabolism, and growth and development.
Utilize assessment tools for analyzing nutritional intake, daily values, recommended dietary allowances, and dietary reference intakes.
Identify levels of prevention as they relate to health promotion and pathological processes throughout the lifespan.
Discuss and describe major disease processes and their relationship to nutrition.
Describe and discuss cultural concepts and how one’s culture affects health.
Directions:
Read the case study assigned by your instructor. You can find your case study in your assigned group by clicking on People on the left navigational bar. You should see your assigned group there. The name of your group is your assigned case study. Click on the three dots and select “Visit Group Homepage”.
Answer the questions based upon the case study you are assigned. This (Part 1) is the INDIVIDUAL portion of this assignment.
Your answers should follow the wording template and not exceed the word count.
You will also be required to *provide at least one APA in-text citation and an APA reference page to support your statement(s).* Please refer to the APA module if you need help with APA.
Type your answers in a Word document and once completed submit via the Assignment tab. Make sure to include the case study information provided in the document you submit.
