Read the two excerpts from The Wealth of Nations and The Communist Manifesto posted in this week’s Topic Folder. While reading, look for Smith and Marx’s interpretation of equality. How did each thinker believe equality should manifest itself in society? What you agree with and what do you disagree with in each of the readings?
