Write an essay in a “medicine in the 18th-century literature class”. The focus should be on the link of coffee, the dangers of its consumption, health and the rise and meaning of coffee houses/ coffee culture. I have to use at least one of the attached primary sources (Primitive Physick or/ and Wholesome advice against the abuse of hot liquors, for capacity reasons I was only able to attach one, but primitive phsick should be easy to access online or I can send the pdf separately- just let me know). The proposal needs to contain the main question/ thesis and further claims. The question I am asking and the intention of the essay needs to be clear.
