paper should be structured in the following way
A. Describe your qualifications and expertise. This can include formal and informal training,
experience in field, observations or familial experience (about 1 paragraph).
B. Describe the gap or disparity. (What is the problem or issue? Justify what you are writing with a
minimum of 1 peer-reviewed citation. You should also be looking at and citing current information,
which means you may be citing some non-peer reviewed but credible sources.
C. Who is your target population? Meaning, who is your intended audience (What city or
population, demographics, age group, etc). Why did you choose this population?
D. What is the problem? Why does it exist? Who does it harm (about 1 page)? How does the
gap or issue relate to your target population? Utilize a minimum of three peer reviewed
and reputable online resources to support your claims.
Describe methods that can be taken to fix this gap or address the issue. How could this be
done? Has your proposed method been applied elsewhere? If so, what were the outcomes.
What benefits will come from this? What will you do to address and ensure your method
incorporates diversity and inclusion? Utilize a minimum of two peer-reviewed and
two reputable online resources to support your claims.
F. List and describe (including why they were selected) three people, professionals or
organizations that you may recruit, to work with you on the method you recommended.
List and describe the top three resources you will need to implement your method? How
will you fund this proposed method- where will these funds come from (about 2 pages)?
G. Design 1 marketing tool (such as a flier or social media advertisement) that you will
incorporate in your drug prevention and awareness initiative and explain why you
selected the method and tool. Make mention of the marketing tool in this section and put the tool in
your appendices.
H. How will you evaluate the effectiveness of your drug prevention and awareness
initiative? Make sure to elaborate.
