What were the major philosophical differences of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X? Explain the ideological positions of each of the leaders and their approach to the movement. Were they attempting to reach the same goal? Explain what their goal(s) were and how they were similar or different. How did they influence individuals and/or organizations during their time and do they continue to influence individuals and/or organizations currently? Explain. Which ideology would be more acceptable to your own philosophy? Which would you support and why?

This assignment is to research Malcolm X’s and Dr. King’s ideologies. You must present these individuals to me as if I have never heard of them. Do not assume that I know about them. You are teaching me about each of them.
