CHD 209Infant & Toddler Education Programs Course ProjectCourse Project: Students will complete a two-part course project. In the first part of the project, students will write a two-page essay explaining the importance of promoting physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Students will also explain the importance of establishing positive relationships with families and maintaining safe and healthy learning environments for children. In the second part of the project, students create nine learning experiences/activities for infants and toddlers. Instructions: Your course project will be submitted in Canvas. The course project should include: a title page with your name, course name and the date. Each page should be numbered and each section should have an appropriate heading. The course project should be double-spaced with one inch margins and a 12-point Times New Roman font should be used. Below are the detailed instructions for completing this assignment: 1) Essay: Students will develop a two-page minimum essay with page focusing on each of the following topics.1) Promoting physical and cognitive development2) Promoting social and emotional development3) Establishing and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with families4) Establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment 2) Learning Experiences/Activities: Students will create 9 infant/toddler developmentally appropriate learning activities. All activities should be typed utilizing the learning activity template provided.
