Write a three page essay that examines what your favorite song, film, show, movie, or book is (pick one not more than one) and use a minimum of three rules of criticism from Alexander Popes “an Essay on Criticism” to support your contention that it is the best.

You must quote three different rules from Pope’s “an Essay on Criticism” and explain what the rules mean. You must also apply those rules to the “text” you choose. You must show how those rules explain why your favorite text is good.

As always, papers must be in MLA format. The only sources allowed in this paper are Popes’ rules and quotes from your favorite text which you are critiquing.
