This assignment is a Company Analysisnot a Company Report. Analysis is not a research paper. Analysis applies the concept of critical thinking to your research. You are not being asked to simply copy and paste facts about the company. Rather, you are being asked to collect information and then critically present it in your business-report-formatted paper.
Company research: Company xyya has been conducting business outside of the United States for 5 years. Revenues for each year have been over $1 million (xyya, 2016).
Company ANALYSIS: Company xyya has been conducting business outside of the United States for 5 years. Revenues for each year have been over $1 million (xyya, 2016). Although the revenue sounds substantial, sales have been declining every year since the initial introduction. Analysts believe that Company xyya will begin taking a loss with international sales next year unless changes are made in the strategy (Sulicoff, 3).
The “company research” paragraph would come from the annual report of the company. The Company Analysis would take the facts from the annual report and then utilize additional research to see what you and experts SAY about the annual report information. And THEN you will present your critical-thinking-findings.

3.Financials
a. Use at least three Key Financial Ratios to begin to analyze this companys financial strength or weakness.
b. Show your work for the ratios and then explain what the results mean for the company.
4.Stock Value
a. Analyze this companys stock value over the last 12 months.
b. Include a chart (with citation) of the stocks value over the last 12 months.
c. List at least 2 events that you believe caused an increase or decrease in the stocks value. Describe.
5.Target Market
a. Describe one target market of this company.
b. Show how it specifically manipulates the marketing mix to satisfy the needs and wants of this target. The marketing mix is the product, place, price and promotional strategies for the selected target market.
6.Structure
a. Describe the overall organizational structure of this company. Refer to your textbook for structures.
b. Describe the corporate culture as it appears and the names of some of the more prominent top executives.
7.Information Technology
a. What are some ways that this company uses Information Technology to increase productivity?
b. What are some ways IT is used to increase customer satisfaction?
8.Business Environment
a. Name and describe at least two Business Environment dimensions that have impacted your company within the past 5 years.
b. Analyze this companys responses to the Business Environment dimensions described and the ensuing results.
