Write a issue position paper which has relevance to Texas state and/or local politics. The paper must be the product of independent research and contain appropriate referencing.

1.) You must submit your essay electronically through Canvas. There is an inbuilt plagiarism checker in Canvas, and you will receive an originality report once you have submitted your paper.
2.) The minimum number of pages for paper is 5 pages TEXT, excluding the Works Cited page.
3.) You must use at least four primary sources for the paper, and no more than two secondary sources. A primary source is an original article/book/expression of opinion in the debate you are covering. Your textbook, dictionaries, encyclopedia are secondary sources. It is not necessary to use any secondary sources. Please note that certain sources, such as Wikipedia and ProCon.org are prohibited- see syllabus.
4.) You will be graded on the basis of how well you answer the question, the depth of your research, organization, appropriate use of sources, MLA style, writing style, and length of paper
