Good News: You may submit your paper anytime starting Wednesday, October 6 through Wednesday, October 13, 11:00 p.m. The paper is actually not due until 10/13 but if you would like to submit it early to make sure you are not over on plagiarism, feel free to do so. If you are over, you may re-work and re-submit your paper to get your score in line with 75% being your own words.
Grading Areas:
For this short paper the grading criteria area will be: Interest level, Paper Length and Mechanics, Research used for your paper, and of course plagiarism.
Interest Level: The paper engages the reader and has facts not typically known by the general population. This paper should NOT be written in first person, meaning it should not be just your own opinions or experience on the area of your topic. The final paragraph is where you include your personal thoughts and experiences should you select to do so.
Paper Length: This is a short paper; 5 or more paragraphs meets this criterion. Each paragraph must be 10 or more sentences. Papers not meeting this standard will receive credit or less available for the assignment.
