Interview several or more) grandparents of young children (birth to eight years) about the role they have in their grandchildren’s lives. Ask about their satisfaction with their role, would they change anything about it if they could, how their role differs from that of a parents, and other questions that come to mind as you are talking to them. (And yes, if you are grandparents, you can include your thoughts in your reflection, but still talk to some others to compare responses.)
