ENC1102 ONLINE FINAL EXAM Summer 2021
This Online Final Exam will be available during a three-day period extending from Friday, June 18 (12:01 AM) through Sunday, June 20, 2021 (11:59 PM). No late submission will be accepted.
Exam Instructions:
You have four questions in this final exam, but you are required to answer only three. Do not use outside sources, including any information taken from the internet. You are required to answer from your own thinking, and you may cite only from the story/poem itself to support your ideasno need to include a ‘Works Cited’ page for this exam. When applicable, include the page or paragraph numbers for the cited materials (line numbers for the poems). Consult the MLA-8 guidelines for more guidance on proper in-text citation credits.
While the goal is to write as much as you need to answer each question, you are required to write a fully developed paragraph to answer each one (100 to 150 words in each paragraph).

3/ In your opinion, what is one of the central themes in Pavel Friedmans “The Butterfly” (Links to an external site.)? Also, discuss why the imagery focuses on a butterflywhy not a moth or a bird?
4/ Discuss how imagery and figures of speech are utilized in Wilfred Owens Dulce et Decorum Est (Links to an external site.) and examine how they amplify the poems central theme. In the second part of your brief paragraph, list the similes used in this poem and explain their role in expanding its meaning and overall theme.
