After watching this brief tutorial, use either the database or your own online access to credible news sources (like the New York Times, Florida Today, Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, etc.) to find two feature articles focused on subject matter that interests you (travel, motorcycles, food, community service, etc.). Next, write a 300-500 word essay on why you chose the two articles and what specific phrases and quotes (also, photos and/or graphics for those of you getting articles directly from the news organization’s website) added to your interest in the writings.
