What is a Community Inventory. What is a Community Needs Assessment? Who performs them? How is the data collected? How is the data evaluated? What is done with the data (Planning? Policy Change? Service Improvement?)? How often are these types of surveys performed?
Once you understand this information, do a Community Inventory and Needs Assessment for a neighborhood in New York City. What is your community make-up? What does your Community have that can help first responders such as Emergency Medical Services (EMS), the Fire Department, and Police? What does your Community need?
