The reaction paper is based on an article that Ive uploaded the file of below. The paper should include:
A brief summary of one or more of the major themes or arguments presented by the author(s) in the reading. This is should be answered in the first paragraph.
Author support for the argument. What specific information or evidence does the author provide to support their argument? This is usually one-two paragraphs and include quotations.
Your reaction to the reading. What is your opinion about the authors argument? Support your
opinion by drawing from class content (please use our class textbook, found at this link, and cite from the introduction and/or chapter 1, please. Along with any other outside material you might choose to use.)

Think of this part
as your opportunity to think through your response and opinions to the authors ideas. Do not
just agree or disagree with a point; develop your reasons for agreeing or disagreeing. This is
usually 2 to 3 paragraphs.
Grading:
I will be looking for evidence that you have read and understood the reading and developed an argument with support integrating content from the class up to point of the due date. A good reaction paper will include: the identification of the authors thesis or theme that is discussed; a summary of the authors evidence to support the thesis (sometimes this evidence is just assertions); your agreement
or disagreement with the author, and your evidence drawn from class content.
