Writes a literature review that synthesizes a discussion of at least four (4) sources, on themes relevant the research question and representing differing perspectives on the topic.
Research Question(s)
Poses a focused central research question they will attempt to answer through research, which may include one or more supporting research questions that helps reveal specific aspects of the issue they wish to explore. The research question addresses an academic research topic about an issue for which there exists many different perspectives/opinions. Research question is phrased as an open-ended question to make available a variety of possible answers. This question can be reasonably answered based on the research plans proposed.
Intended Audience
Describes one or more audiences for whom this research is intended; explains the relevance this research has for the audience(s).
Research Plan
Offers a specific and reasonable detailed research plan to collect additional knowledge that will help the researcher answer the research question(s); research plan includes a plan to collect primary research (interviews – including who, what, where, why, and how) and secondary research (kinds of information and sources, search terms, possible library databases, other online resources, etc.)
