Relate the role environmental health in the community setting
Verbalize understanding of policies on environmental health issues
Identify how to ingrate knowledge of environmental health into everyday nursing practice
Directions: You will choose an environmental health topic and discuss the following. No more than 2 persons for each environmental health issue.
Select an environmental health issue or concern (or a potential issue or concern) in your community (use the book for ideas)
Relate how the health effects of this environmental health issues affects the population at the individual level, community level and the systems level
How do current policies in place assist with this environmental health issue?
Is it the localitys responsibility to make certain the environment is safe for the residents (versus the responsibility of the companies in the community, or the residents themselves)?
