Assignment Question

This assignment is inspired by the entrepreneurial TV show Shark Tank. Your task is to develop an innovative solution to address an issue, either global or local, related to educational inequity to create a compelling design that tackles one or more aspects of educational inequity. As a reminder, a focus on educational equity doesn’t have to be targeted solely on classroom settings. Educational inequity can manifest in numerous ways, ranging from housing instability, food insecurity, and a lack of access to quality healthcare. It is related to inadequate cultural representation in books and curricula as well as insufficient access to extracurricular settings and resources. Moreover, educational inequity can stem from issues related to mental health and well-being as well as parental involvement (either too much or too little). Feel free to take a broad perspective on “education” as you brainstorm and then develop your innovative design. The slides should include a thorough analysis of the target market, competitors, and funding requirements (i.e. slides 5-7). The slides should articulate why the product/service has a competitive advantage and how it will stand out (i.e. slide 8). Visuals, graphics, and other media should be included to enhance the presentation’s effectiveness. There should be limited typographic or errors throughout the presentation.
