Information to be used for the paper: the company name is Dr Victoria Rodrigues as a Patient Coordinator. I worked there for her for 1 year. Based off my job discription Sr Patient Access Coordinator / Call Center * Respond to inbound phone calls and appointment scheduling requests from patients, and surgical schedulers and transfer calls to appropriate offices within Pro Health. * Schedule appointments in the practice management system in accordance with triage guidelines, scheduling protocols, and patient’s chief complaint * Communicate between all office staff the needs of patients from concerns to nurses and doctors, callbacks to prescription refills to referrals through tasking communications. * Make outbound calls to eligible patients for upcoming physicals and follow-ups. * Listen to patient concerns and offer appropriate recommendations based on guidelines * Call patients who are at risk for not showing up with appointment reminders or upcoming physical appointments * Verify and document appropriate demographic information and update as needed * Verify insurance policy & plans * Schedule appropriate appointments for patients: follow-up, transitional care, ER follow-up, sick/ same day appointments, pre-op to New Born and pediatric appointments * Document and provide feedback from callers to the appropriate parties for follow-up and/or resolution * Communicate with physician office staff on patient concerns, requests and scheduling changes * Follow HIPPA guidelines * Manage high call volume with up to 100 plus inbound calls.
