I am Portuguese and a university professor in Political Science (with PHD)
I intend to publish this paper (27 pages) in a scientific journal (with a high impact factor) in the field of Political Science (the choice is yours). It is necessary that you insert the missing references in the body of the text and that they support my arguments at each point. The indication where these references should be inserted is made using red curved indents.
At the end, it is necessary to list all the bibliographical references that have been used to support the arguments developed in the text. For this, it is necessary to follow the bibliographic referencing system (APA, Chicago or others) used by the scientific journal in which the paper will be submitted for publication.
The bibliographical references to be used can be books, magazine articles, newspapers or official data. These rules also apply to references introduced in the body of the text.
Besides the revision and improvement of the English level the paper must also have the number of words allowed by the scientific journal in question (see the journal’s guidelines)
In addition to proofreading and English improvement, there are other specific tasks that can be performed to increase the chances of success in submitting the paper to a high impact journal in Political Science. Thus, I would like you to develop the following tasks:
1) Revise and improve the structure of the article, ensuring that the content is organised clearly and logically, following the standards required by the journal.
2) Identify and correct any inaccuracies or inconsistencies in the data and analysis, ensuring that the conclusions are based on solid and accurate facts.
3) Develop more robust and convincing arguments that support the conclusions of the article, using reliable and up-to-date sources to back up the reasoning.
4) Carry out a thorough and rigorous literature review, including the latest publications and research, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the topic in question.
5) Tailor the format and style of the article to the specific requirements of the journal, including formatting, references and citations, to ensure it conforms to publication standards.
6) Identify and correct any problems of coherence and cohesion of the text, ensuring that the article flows clearly and cohesively.
7) Check that the article meets the criteria of originality, relevance and impact, demonstrating significant contributions to the area of study.
