Jessie Medjine Zenny has worked for over 20 years in International Entrepreneurship and Early Childhood Promotion. She has an extended experience in international trade. Her experience as an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Southeast Haiti and her previous roles in sales and management positions have given her practical leadership skills.
Since 2011, she has been involved in a campaign to promote Education and Early Childhood Development in Haiti. She is proactively involved in local communities by responding to the needs of the most vulnerable families.
Her goal is to continue to raise awareness of the importance of Early Childhood Development and promote policies that support access to early childhood education for all children. For her, every child should be able to develop to their fullest potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.
She worked at Saint Ignace De Loyola, an elementary school tending to 100 children from k12 in the community in Haiti for more than 11 years. She currently serves as the school’s second leader.
Her leadership abilities, deep commitment to education, and unique ability to connect with parents, students, and teachers have been inspirational in her role at the school. She has a crucial role in developing and implementing valuable curriculum and student mentorship programs, which have been hugely successful.
She is a well-rounded professional who has leveraged exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service abilities while strategically running a successful international business.
She is an Innovative and analytical thinker who can proactively resolve problems, meet deadlines, and establish goals while working cross-functionally with other teams and professionals.
She is also a skilled negotiator and team leader capable of following company policies, building lasting relationships with key customers, and working proactively to ensure all expectations are met.
She does not have any Montessori training or credential. However, looking to the future, she is excited about furthering her education through the Leadership Program at The Center for Guided Montessori Studies. She is committed to using her education and experiences to impact the world positively.
She visited several Montessori private schools in Florida where she planned to move. She is considering working in the state as a school leader at an existing Montessori facility or building a strong Montessori school for the families of her community.
As a family woman and a mother of four children from 12 to 5 years old, she understands the importance of education and the benefits of teaching the children without stressing them.
She also prioritizes self-care activities such as exercise and spending time with loved ones.
